Full slayer helmet chathead.png

The full slayer helmet is a level 20 slayer helmet with bonuses equivalent to a hybrid iron full helm. Information technology is fabricated by combining a focus sight, hexcrest, and slayer helmet by using one on any of the others. This requires level 55 Crafting, completion of Smoking Kills, and the power to craft slayer helmets (unlocked for 400 Slayer points).

The slayer helmet is an all-class item, which ways its armour stat is used in full when defending confronting any style. It tin also be used as an enchanted gem.

For 500 Slayer points (or l Slayer points any time after first purchased), players can upgrade the helmet to fuse rings of slaying and ferocious rings, gaining some of the benefits of both. Players must be wearing the helmet in order to upgrade it. Players can only ain one fused helm at a time. Other slayer helms may be owned, simply cannot have rings added to them.

The full slayer helmet can be upgraded to the tier 1 upgraded helmet, the reinforced slayer helmet, for 100 Slayer points, giving it meliorate stats and a higher requirement to wear. If a role player has upgraded the helmet at to the lowest degree in one case before but disassembled or lost it, information technology tin be re-upgraded for only x Slayer points.

Combat stats [edit | edit source]

Effects [edit | edit source]

The full slayer helmet combines the effects of several pieces of head slot Slayer equipment, all of which are required to create it:

  • Like a black mask, hexcrest, and focus sight, it provides a 12.5% boost in damage and accuracy on Melee, Ranged, and Magic attacks against the player's current Slayer assignment. The heave does NOT work on Shattered Worlds' mobs.
  • Similar a spiny helmet, information technology protects players from wall beasts when traversing the Lumbridge Swamp Caves.
  • Like earmuffs, it deafens the screams of banshees.
  • Like a face mask, it protects players from the dust in the Smoke Dungeon and from stat-draining attacks past dust devils.
  • Like a nose peg, it blocks stat-draining attacks by aberrant spectres.
  • Every 20 souls added to the Slayer Codex add a i% boost to Slayer experience gained while wearing the helmet, upward to five% for adding 100 souls.

The helmet retains the abilities of all the items used to make it. Information technology still gives the effects that the black mask, hexcrest, and focus sight practise, but with better defence and bonuses, making it one of the best helms for Slayer assignments. If the black mask however has charges, they must first be expended.

With the addition of Anachronia, a full slayer helmet can be placed on the Slayer helmet stand of a Tier three Slayer Lodge. This allows the player to take the furnishings of the slayer helmet at all times, without needing to wear it.

Damage analysis [edit | edit source]

The damage boost from any type of slayer helmet applies only to the variable portion (the impairment between the ability's minimum and maximum hit) of harm. Typically, abilities accept ability damage ranges where the maximum hitting is five times the minimum hit. For example, for an power with a damage range of twenty% to 100%, the slayer helmet will not apply to first 20% of ability damage, merely will modify the additional harm over that. With the exception of auto attacks, this means that slayer helmets will e'er provide a total lower damage increase than displayed.

Slayer helmets practise not work on bleeds and burns.

  1. ^ "Standard abilities" are abilities where the maximum hit is v times the minimum hit.
    • Examples:
  2. ^ Due to the way the damage range of the 2d hit of Snap Shot is calculated, it does not receive the impairment boost.
  3. ^ The impairment range used is per striking. Each hit has the same damage range.
  4. ^ Both hits of Wild Magic have the same impairment range.
  5. ^ The damage range for Omnipower cast while the role player has the Igneous Kal-Mej or Igneous Kal-Zuk changes to xc%-180% per hit. However, the impairment increase is exactly the same a regular Omnipower.

Recolouring [edit | edit source]

For four,000 Loyalty points, players can buy the power to modify the colour of their slayer helmet, and this works for all variations of slayer helmets except the most basic slayer helmet. By using the helmet on Xuan or Dilwyn, it tin be recoloured to the colours blue, yellowish, red, and green. Recolouring the full slayer helmet also changes the colour of the backplate to pastel pinkish. This ability cannot exist refunded, but one time bought, players can change the colour of their helmet as many times every bit they like. The pink backplate can only be removed/changed by reverting to the original colour. The four versions are:
